About Me!

Hello, and welcome to my e-portfolio! While you are here let me introduce myself. My name is Abigail Giannetta, I am currently 20 years old, and I was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. About seven years ago, my family moved to Buena Vista, Saskatchewan. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to attend the University of Regina as a student in the Faculty of Education. I am currently a first-year student studying secondary education with a major in English and a minor in History. My journey of exploring my identity as an educator began when I was in grade 10. This discovery was heavily influenced by my family, as I will be the fourth generation to pursue a career in the educational system. I acknowledge that some women do not have the same opportunities to receive proper education or attend school. Therefore, I recognize the privilege that has granted me these opportunities and I will not waste it. I am beyond grateful to have the ability to attend classes, to learn as much as possible, and grow as a person. I can not wait for what the future will hold.

Here are a few pictures of me and my small but mighty family. The picture on left is of me and my 15 year-old brother, Matteo. The picture on the right is of me and my mom, Bree. My parents divorced when I was 4 years-old, so it has just been the three of us since and we are happier than ever!

Here are a few pictures of my friends. I have known each of these lovely ladies since grade 4 and we have been very good friends ever since!
