About me!

Hi! My name is Adair Johnson. I graduated from Thom Collegiate in June 2021. I am now studying elementary education at the University of Regina. I love the outdoors! I love hiking with my dog and family. Going camping is probably one of my favourite things to do during the summer. We also have a boat, we try to get on it  as much as we can! But with living in Saskatchewan the weather doesn’t always cooperate.

I have played baseball for numerous years. In 2013 my baseball team was undefeatable. We were such a close team with great coaches that taught us so much. That year we had won the championship. We were such a close group we started screaming and hugging. All that hard work finally paid off. A few years later I switched to softball. In 2019 my team made it to the final. The team we ended up playing was a lot better than us. We ended up second in the league. It was a hard fight. My years of playing softball were cut short as Covid-19 had made its appearance. There are so many fun memories.

Before Covid-19 my Mom always had a beautiful garden with tons of flowers and plants. I didn’t care about it when I was younger. My Grandpa always planted one as well when my Mom was a child and it was her inspiration. Her and her sister had always planted one as my cousins and I grew up. The green thumb has always been passed down. Before Covid-19 one of my cousins started to love house plants. Then as Covid stuck around longer my other cousin and I began to love plants. I now have over 30 plants in my room. As I became more bored I would look on Pinterest and I got ideas…I decided I was going to make a plant wall. I of course couldn’t do it without the help of my Dad. He would cut the wood and I would stain it. We put it together and hung it on my wall. It definitely makes the winters go faster.

That’s a little about me! I am so excited about my future and where university will take me! I hope you stick around and watch my journey of becoming a professional teacher!
