Response to Haiku Lesson

After my haiku lesson, I was taught how to properly formulate a lesson plan, and asked how i could have structured the lesson to better engage students, to which i responded with “i could have formulated it in a way that engaged students by allowing students to come up with categories as a collective, and then have students share in between categories, rather than have them write them back to back”

Response to debate lesson

After my debate lesson, i was told that i should have had better classroom management, as students quickly became off task, and did not want to participate in the lessons, as well as to be more confident when standing in front of the class. I responded to this by asking how to better engage students who are unmotivated on a topic. Ms. Morley responded by creating a lesson that hits the same topic, but is a little less information heavy, and rather eases the students into the topic through fun lessons that engage them, and doesnt set them right into the lesson. i then reflected on how to build my confidence, to which i concluded that i need to be more sure of myself when teaching, which would help engage the students more.
