How have I contributed to the learning of others?

This semester has sure flown by. I have loved getting to know the amazing people in this class and watch them progress in their learning projects.

I started contributing to this class by introducing myself on the class Discord. I had a lot of fun reading everyone’s introductions and getting know my peers a bit better.

I had hopes of remaining an active member of the class Discord but I struggled with this. I found that whenever I would log on, someone had already answered another person’s question, leaving me with little to add.

I would say that the primary ways in which I contributed to the learning of my peers was through blog comments and small group discussions during class. I tried to leave lots of encouraging or helpful comments on other people’s blog posts. During class breakout rooms, I made sure to always have my mic and camera on. I would also be as active in the conversations as I could, even leading the discussion when it was a bit awkwardly quiet.

I had a great time getting to know my peers throughout this semester. I wish you all the best of luck on your future endeavours!
