My Educational Experiences

I have lived in the town of Cudworth my whole life, so I have attended Cudworth School from kindergarten to grade 12. It is a very small school with approximately 150 students enrolled. Going to a small town school gives you a different experience because it means smaller class sizes, allowing the teachers to develop closer connections to their students, impacting their lives more. I have experience with this as my elementary school teachers have significantly impacted my life. This is the main reason that I want to teach at a small-town K to 12 school, preferably grades 1, 2, or 3 after I graduate from university.

I graduated in June of 2021 in a class of 10 kids. I have been in the same class with these kids since kindergarten. We grew up together. I really liked having that because we became very close as a class and we were able to have a more personal graduation ceremony. 

My school experience is a major part of why I want to become a teacher. I had some amazing teachers growing up and I had some not so amazing teachers growing up. I want to make sure kids have a better experience than I did throughout school, like some of my teachers did for me.
