For my aesthetic representation I decided to draw a path. The path is rocky, winding and uneven to symbolize that it will not always be an easy journey. Although it may not be easy, it is necessary and arguably required for me to become an educator. The trees symbolize my personal journey through Truth and Reconciliation. In the beginning the tree is dead to symbolize where I started on my journey. I began this journey without knowledge or experience. As I have progressed through the journey, the tree starts to blossom, until the tree becomes fully grown. My journey will never truly end which is why I wanted the path to continue out of sight. The sign on the path is meant to be pointing forward to symbolize my commitment to continuing on this journey for the rest of my life.
