Useful Teaching Resources

The first link, GoNoodle, is a great resource that my cooperating teacher used numerous times in the classroom. This website allows for you to pick an educational idea based on subjects and the students follow the actions in the video. This gets the students up and moving while the teacher is prepping for the next lesson, or if the students simply just need a break from sitting still.

My cooperating teacher introduced me to Teachers Pay Teachers and I am incredibly grateful that she did. On this website, you make yourself an account and then get access to numerous teaching resources for free or incredibly cheap. The cooperating teacher also mentioned that she uses this website several times to create lessons.

I became interested in treaty education and wanted to find some resources to use in my classroom. This website has many resources on it that help to create lesson plans. It also has full units, which helps as I do not know too many concepts regarding treaty education.

My cooperating teacher for ECS 100 showed me this website. She said it was a great resource as you have a checklist of what criteria needs to be met and is created the by Government, ensuring that the information is accurate. After doing investigating on this website, I have become excited to use this when making lesson plans in the future.

This website is another great resource for getting inspiration for unit plans that will follow the Saskatchewan curriculum guidelines. I appreciate how it is sorted by learning level as well as subject.

This specific website has the criteria that each lesson/unit plan must have. This will be incredibly useful for me in my internship, as well as once I have completed my degree and start teaching.
