Tools For Online and Blended Learning

There are various tools for online and blended learning as i have studied in 10 Distance learning tools in 10 minutes but as per my perspective, I think zoom, google workspace, Ka hoot  are very useful for teaching field. Zoom is a video conferencing tool that help us to conduct online classes from anywhere and make the teaching learning process more accessible for everyone. Google workspace stores data in cloud and help the individual to work together while sitting at different locations and working at different times on their respective tasks. Ka hoot  helps to make the online teaching sessions more engaging and interactive. Students can engage in the classroom discussions by answering various questions and can contribute their feedback in classroom through these engagement tools.

I would like to use these tools while teaching in online class in future. I will use zoom to conduct my online classes and will also use the different features of this application while conducting my class such as screen sharing to present the content effectively and to connect with the students on the same page. I will also record the classes so that if any student miss the class due to any reason they will have the access to it later on. Google workspace will help me to keep the records of all my documents at one place and to work in collaboration with my other colleagues on the same project. I will use different engagement tools such as Ka hoot to organize different quiz games for the students and will engage them enthusiastically in classroom discussions. These online learning tools will help a lot to make the classroom sessions more interesting and engaging for the students. But at the same time we need to keep in mind that we use these tools effectively to increase our efficiency rather then misuse them.

Hello Ayushi, it’s great that you will prefer to use the digital tools you mentioned in your blog, especially Google Workspace and Zoom. These are powerful tools that will be able to help yourself in your online or hybrid classes. I am fond of Google Workspace because it is user-friendly and at the same time very centralized, as long as one uses a Gmail account.
