I’m thrilled to kick off my blogging journey and share a bit about myself. My name is Benjamín Aguilar Quezada, (yes, two last names), and I’m currently on the path to becoming an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in Chile, and let me tell you, it’s been quite the adventure! 🇨🇱🌍🎓

As I dive into my internship in schools, one thing that sets my approach apart is my love for technology. 💻 During my classroom activities, my trusty laptop becomes a powerhouse of technological tools. I believe that integrating tech into teaching not only makes learning more engaging but also prepares students for the digital world they’ll inevitably navigate.

Now, I must confess, I initially thought blogging was a tad old-fashioned. However, my perspective shifted when I realized the wealth of knowledge available in well-crafted blogs. I’ve found that those with proper source lists and references can be invaluable resources, offering insights and ideas that fuel my passion for teaching. 🤓🔍

During my journey, two apps have become my ride-or-die companions in the classroom – Kahoot and Mentimeter. 🚀 Kahoot injects an element of fun into assessments, turning the learning process into an interactive game. Meanwhile, Mentimeter transforms traditional presentations into dynamic, real-time experiences by allowing students to contribute their thoughts and ideas instantly.
