This week I introduce you to chicken coated in honey, this sweet chicken looks absolutely delicious and man did it take a long time when I opted to use the oven instead of the stove. I grabbed 8 pieces of chicken thighs from the supermarket and prepped all 8 at once. I then mixed it with some pepper flakes, salt, a little bit of lime juice, and some olive oil, tossed it in a glass baking dish and put it in the oven. It took a long time but it was successful. I think I would 100% do stove next time because it’s fast and efficient compared to the oven. I then made some rice in a rice cooker that we just recently got, I recommend one if you’re a rice lover and don’t have time to make rice the proper way. I put both the chicken and rice in the fridge and then would pack it into a container in the morning to take to school with me. The dishes tasted amazing. Next time I am thinking of making either a fried rice, some pasta or just wraps again, things I’ve been craving this week while eating my chicken and rice. I will have to research and find some healthy and fun to eat and make recipes this weekend.
