As most of you might know, I have a Computer Science degree and am an after-degree student. I have always been interested in computers or just technology in general. Today, I decided to explore Code.org.
Code.org is an amazing resource for educators. Just recently, I led my students during my pre-internship on it, and they loved it, and were surprisingly very quiet while they worked on it. Today I will go through some of them and see if I can complete them myself.
Heres the results
I got a little carried away and ended up making glasses on all of them. Is this how the bear would wear the glasses?
Here’s a little clip of me just enjoying and playing around with all the blocks in the last stage, where it’s a free-for-all.
I hope you all consider doing this for your classes, and I have lesson plans for other coding like Scratch or C++ for grades 7 and 8 if you’re interested in them, just let me know and I can share them with you.
