Hi everyone! My name is Breanna Glover and I am so excited to be in EDTC 300 this semester. I am new to educational technology and I cannot wait to learn more and a new skill!

I am a soon to be teacher who is always willing to learn. That is the main reason why I am taking this class. I want to always be learning and growing.

My Experiences with Educational Technology

During my internship, I had the chance to implement the UFLI Foundations program and it is designed to build foundational literacy skills to give early learners to basic skills to being to read. This program showed me how technology can go with explicit instruction and play.

Watching my students grow from this program was rewarding and made me want to learn more about educational technology and ways to implement it into my future classrooms.

Another tool I’ve explored a little is Google Classroom, which I used to organize assignments and encourage collaboration with technology.

Thoughts on Blogging

To be honest, blogging feels a little outside my comfort zone! I love writing and reflecting but the idea of sharing my thoughts publicly is a little nerve-wracking. I see this blog as a chance to grow, connect with my classmates, and develop my voice in the education community.

I also believe blogging can be a powerful tool for educators. It’s a great platform to share ideas, discuss challenges, and celebrate successes.

I want to hear from you! Have you had any interesting experiences with educational technology? Please share your thoughts in the comments below!
