Educational Philosophy

As a future elementary teacher, I strongly believe that every child has a right to learn in a space where they feel safe, supported, and inspired. My objective as a teacher is to a build a classroom environment that creates curiosity, encourages kindness and has a love for learning that lasts beyond the school years.

I feel that every child learns best when they’re fully involved and when learning feels fun for them. I want to make lesson plans that have hands-on experiences, and have a way to connect with students’ interests and real-world experiences. Even if that’s through storytelling, play, group assignments, or imagination driven. My goal for learning is to make it an adventure.

Establishing bonds with the students’ is the core of my teaching philosophy. I want to get to know each student as an outstanding individual and support their growth with education, socially, and emotionally. I believe in acknowledging the differences and creating an environment where all students feel they belong.

As I carry on with my education journey, I am devoting myself to grow alongside the students I teach. I believe that great teachers never actually stop learning, and I look forward to carrying on to reflect, adapt and better my practices, so I can meet the needs of all learners.
