All About Me

Me!

My name is Bridget Maloney and I am a fourth year student at the University of Regina in the Faculty of Education. I am currently working towards my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.

In the future I hope to have my own Grade One or Two classroom, I have fallen in love with the younger grades through my various field experiences. It is my goal to help students develop a passion for learning at a young age to promote a life long desire to learn.

My Grade 12 Graduation with my family!

I have lived in Regina my whole life and have had so many great experiences throughout elementary and high school. For Kindergarten to Grade Eight I attended Henry Braun School, and then moved on to F.W. Johnson Collegiate where I graduated in 2021. The continuous love and support I received from my teachers fuelled my passion for becoming a teacher, I hope to make the same impact on my students one day. I believe that every child has a place in the classroom  and  is capable of success when they are given the support they need, just as I was.

My Dogs! Scout (Left), Chex (Middle), Apollo (Right)

In my free time I love to spend time with my three dogs (pictured to the left), as well as spend time with my friends and family!

Finally, I currently work at Autism Resource Centre as a part of their Support Staff! It has been such a great experience to work in both the Adult Life Skills Programs and the Summer Camp.

I am excited to be documenting my journey towards becoming an Educator on this website!
