Places, Spaces, and Boundaries

Learning can take place anywhere and no learner is the same.

Making classroom spaces more relational is essential to have a positive learning environment. Teachers can look beyond the boundaries of the classroom. Teachers can change the desk arrangements and even sit in the circle to engage with students. Interacting with different environments allows students to learn from the environment, ways to care for and protect the environment, and creates memories and lessons they will not forget. We need to work towards incorporating more Indigenous ways of knowing to strive for decolonizing the education system and the classrooms.
