Society needs to be more understanding, have compassion, and understand the Indigenous perspective of history to be able to work with Indigenous peoples towards reconciliation. We need to work together towards harmony.

Always be accepting and open-minded, look beyond physical appearance and actions, and remember everyone has their own story. As a new teacher, I must have a voice and try to switch the current mindsets of some schools to achieve reconciliation through education.
