Space, Place, and Boundaries

What Do These Photos Mean?

Follow a Path: This image was taken behind my grandparent’s house. I love visiting them because I get to spend my time outdoors exploring the beautiful scenery. The path that you see is what my siblings and I would take when we drove the gator.

Find a Sit Spot: My family and I travel to Bozeman, Montana to ski in the mountains almost every New Year. This has been a tradition for as long as I can remember. The chairlifts at Bridger Bowl in the picture have always been my perfect sit spot to decompress and enjoy my surroundings.

Map Your Emotions: Theatre and dance are a huge part of my life. I have been in over 16 productions and danced competitively for 11 years. I chose this image of the U of R Riddell Theatre to offer the perspective of what being on a stage feels like; the place where I map my emotions the most. Personally, I adore every minute of performing because I feel at home.

View From a Different Perspective: I currently work as a lifeguard and swimming instructor with the City of Regina. This job comes with many rewards and challenges, but I would not pass it up for any others. This picture is of the Lawson Aquatic Centre pool and it is what I get to observe in the guard chair.
