About Me
My name is Britton Perkowitsch, and I am a first-year student at the University of Regina. Currently, I am in the secondary education program with a social studies major and a drama minor. I hope to combine these specialized areas into whatever grade I teach! Two of my goals are to study abroad in the upcoming years of my studies and earn an inclusive education certificate after I graduate.
I am the type of person that loves to get involved, and the arts have been an extensive part of my life (especially theatre and dance). During my free time, I am either hanging out with friends, watching movies, listening to music, baking, painting, or searching for a new hobby to try out.
I was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and continue to live with my parents. I am the middle child of my family, as I have an older and younger sister. We value travelling and skiing, and always go on a few trips every year!
My education journey has just begun, and I am already eager to start my career! I plan on utilizing everything I learn and the resources I gain from my university classes in my future classroom. The main reason I chose this career stems from how my mom (who used to teach) and I have similar personalities. I hope to make her proud and continue the Perkowitsch teacher name 🙂
