Educational Philosophy

As a teacher, it is our responsibility to provide our students with the tools and knowledge to find success in education. These skills don’t always directly translate directly to the subjects we teach, but can still reflect aspects of passions of our students. In this aspect, we should be adaptable in the ways we teach to ensure each student as the opportunity to engage with the teachings. We should provide a safe space for all to feel welcome no matter walk of life they take as we are all human. Mistakes will be made by ourselves and students, but its important to learn from these and move forward. We must work hand in hand with our community to make a society where equal opportunity is available to everyone. We may not be able to change every outcome, but we certainly have the ability and opportunity to try.

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn.” – Ben Franklin
