I cannot believe that I have made it to my last round of baking for my learning project. It is so crazy to think that we have reached the end! For this final post, I decided to just go through all of the ingredients that I had in my fridge and cupboards for this semester and find a recipe based on that. I decided to make… blueberry cream cheese bread!
Over the semester, I have loved going on Pinterest and trying out various different blogs to see how different people do it because this also helps me in deciding how to make my own blog. For recording my learning, I decided to give making a Tik Tok another go… it seems that I did not learn my lesson from last time. Once again, my main mistake was using the recipe on my phone and switching back and forth from that to Tik Tok. I was being careful in the sense that every time I would go back onto Tik Tok, I would check to make sure that my video was there, and it was. My problem was that once I was done, I didn’t click save and just closed out of the app. When I went back to watch it, only about three clips were there. I have decided that I am not meant to make Tik Toks, only to watch them.
The actual baking itself was a super simple process, which is why I decided to take on the challenge of making a Tik Tok. I think I have really got the hang of the baking, not the technology. This is the recipe that I used! It was super simple, I essentially just mixed the main ingredients in a bowl, and swirled the cream cheese mixture into it. Another frustration that I had, in addition to making the Tik Tok was having to touch my phone frequently while handling food. I found that by the end, my phone was disgusting and sticky from my hands, even though I would wash them before and after using it to record. I understand now why people who frequently make these videos have some sort of stand for their phone to go on.
Anyways, without further ado, here is a nice picture I took of myself with the bread at the end, once I had realized that my video failed.
