Our focus questions assignment asked us to reflect on our educational journey growing up. We were asked to looked back at the environment we learned in to try to notice the different power dynamics in a classroom. Also to look back on if there were any different ways of knowing and doing being practiced in our schools and to reflect on what we learned growing up about the history of Indigenous people.

Here is small part of my assignment, speaking on one of the messages that resonated the most with me. It is my belief that we must continue to educate new generations on our history to fully heal from the wrongs committed in the past to indigenous people.

Included in this section is my full Focus Question project for those curious as to what the entire project looked like. I enjoyed this assignment because it made me reflect back on my journey from a student to where I am today in the education program.
