Mackenzie Art Gallery Treaty Walk
During ECCU 400 we created our own treaty walks. On these walks, we made different connections to treaty education and Indigenous ways of knowing to complement our teaching. This was a great experience and I was given the opportunity to go on treaty walks created by my peers. I loved seeing the different places everyone chose and the different teachings they brought on their walks. I thoroughly enjoyed going on these walks and gaining knowledge on what treaty walks are. These treaty walks would be a great experience for all students to immerse themselves in Indigenous teachings.
