Observations: When the student is on the verge of getting upset, providing them with positive options helps with regulation. Once the student gets upset, talking with them can make it worse; let the student calm down on their own. The student will usually ask to cuddle her puppy and go in her egg chair – this has been productive in helping the student regulate.
