Valentine’s Day Cat Eye Nails!

I’m so glad I got swatches to practice on! In my last post, I showed you all how I have been practicing different techniques to get the “cat eye” effect using special magnetic gel polish. Ultimately, I figured out which pattern I liked best, and did a set of pink ones for Valentine’s Day! Here they are:

On my nail design journey, I find that I usually use Google to find social media pages. For example, to find inspiration I will Google something like, “Pinterest Valentine’s Day short nails” or “Instagram Winter 2025 nails”. Then, I usually Google the ideas that I’m interested in, for example, “Youtube magnetic polish tutorial” or “Tiktok pink cat eye nail design tutorials”.

Something I noted while I look up tutorials is that I always pick the shortest one out of the first few options. Does anyone do the same? How do you pick which of the first few tutorials you will click on first?!
