About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Christa Jamieson and I am in the faculty of education secondary program! After I graduated in 2017 I took a few years off to explore career paths, while competing on an international open worlds cheerleading team.  I had the opportunity to compete on the worlds stage at the ESPN Sports Complex in Orlando twice, and on the Canadian Nationals stage twice with my teams.

I grew up in Moose Jaw with my older brother, mom and father. I moved to Regina when I was 18 and started to work in childcare at the YMCA,  in the toddler and kindergarten rooms. Through my years of service at the Y, I gained my ECE level 1 certificate through Saskatchewan Polytechnic. I am currently living in Melville with my fiancé, so he can pursue his career in power line work.

I have had some very influential teachers throughout high school and university so far that have encouraged me to strive to be an educator that students know they can come to in any situation, and one that is able to grow with todays evolving society. I am so excited to be on my journey to becoming a teacher! I hope you stay awhile, and enjoy my posts and past work!
