About Me!

Christen Gall

(She/Her)

Anin  (hello in Saulteaux), my name is Christen Gall, I am a 29 year old Indigenous woman from Keeseekoose First Nation. I live on Treaty 4 territory and am an aspiring teacher. I currently work as an special educational assistant. I love being in the classroom and teaching is one of my passions. I currently work with younger grades, but I do envision myself in the middle years, I would love to be a grade 4-6 teacher eventually. The only other thing in life that I am this passionate about is my family. I was born to be a mother. I have a 3 year old daughter who is my entire world. She has shown me so many things in life and has helped push me to go for my dreams, she is my “why”. Her dad and I have been engaged since February of this year. We have built an amazing life together. In my spare time, you can find me cuddled up under a blanket reading a good book or binging a new tv show. In the summer time, I enjoy getting outdoors, we do a lot of camping and spend a ton of time at the beach. I also recently decided to take up more traditional teachings such as learning Saulteaux, beading, making ribbon skirts and other various Indigenous arts. Please enjoy my page.
