Short Term Goals – Next Semester

• Teach a class that I am less comfortable with and challenge myself to try something new; for example, math! So far, Ms. Brentnell has not offered the option of teaching math to Pascale or I but it could be something I ask to try.
• Use differentiated teaching strategies. We have discussed adaptation and differentiated learning in ECS many times and I see the benefit in it, I just have not been able to apply it yet but will challenge myself next semester to.
• Choose a meaningful Essential Question and apply it in multiple subjects I teach.
• Integrate physical activity into the classroom more regularly to get students moving!
• Become more involved in Ethel Milliken and the different extra curricular activities they offer for students
• Become more confident in assessing student work.

Long Term Goals

• Develop my own personalized classroom management style.
• Choose an internship placement and begin to prepare for it.
• Develop more unit plans for a variety of different classes and ages.
• Create connections in the schools/school boards I want to get a position with.
