Time management: Spending less time on a lesson but still have it make an impact.
Time management in the classroom: Do not assume that things will move as quickly as I want and adapt the lesson accordingly.
Communication skills: Eliminate any unwanted terms and pauses in speech, during lesson and in general usage.
Build relationships: Continue to build and grow the relationships I have with my students but also attempt to build relationships with the staff members throughout the school.
Classroom Management: Have a technique (example – rainstick) to use to get the attention of students and use it when appropriate so students recognize the meaning.
Give clear, grade-appropriate directions: Make sure to use appropriate terminology when giving directions. Write on the board or on paper so students can refer too. Make sure I know what I want them to do before giving the directions.
