Through my ECS 310 course I have been exposed to and array of strategies that move away from direct instruction. Moving away from direct instruction is critical as other learning strategies can often be more reflective of social and ecological justice, as well as support differentiations.

1.) Experiential learning
My peer group prepared a class presentation on this strategy, it allows for hands on learning approaches and is student driven. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/13PGYOjSLDqXsiytm_pFGKuhT4IW1gr5XI-KhzE-fc7s/edit?usp=sharing
2.) Cooperative Learning
This strategy stood out to me and is something I plan to implement in my future classrooms. As it allows students to take the lead in their learning while working in small peer groups. I believe this is reflective of inclusive education, as the outcomes are in the students hands.
3.) Art Infused Learning
This teaching strategy also stood out to be something I would want to adopt in my future classrooms. As it allows for the arts to drive students learning and provides varying opportunities for connections and communications that may not be allotted in other forms.
There are many more learning strategies, these are just a few examples.
