Numeracy

Lesson on patterns in internship.
Mathematics is also essential to my teaching practice. I often structured my math as having a whole group lesson (no more than 20 minutes) with an interactive element (e.g., whiteboards or boom cards), next students would go onto new math on my own or MOMO, then have an option after 15 minutes to do Mathletics an online math support that is curriculum-aligned, and if they were done everything, they could either do math facts or math games. I also always have a work-with-teacher table open for students. I often did around 3 whole group math lessons a week, and near the end of my internship, I started to include elements of a thinking classroom into my math instruction.
