Goals:

1.) Continue my learning of reviewing, reflecting & self-evaluating, and relating in connection to my pre-internship and Internship.

2.) Attempt to create respectful and professional relationships with local Elders and Knowledge Keepers (both outside and inside a classroom setting).

3.) Create learning-specific lesson plans that include adaptive dimensions.

4.) Research and learn more about how I will support and further adopt an anti-racist pedagogy.

5.) Work on planning for and implementing lessons that move away from direct instruction and embrace more meaningful hands-on learning approaches (e.g., experiential learning).

6.) Research and find resources (for teachers and students) that support a gender-friendly/diverse classroom.

7.) Learn how to best align my balanced literacy classroom with elements of the Science of Reading.

8.) Work ok integrating a Thinking Classroom within mathematics at all levels.

9.) Continue to learn and visit other educators in the field to find inspiration in developing my practices and philosophy.

10.) Find ways to work collaboratively with my peers and colleagues with in education for the betterment of students.
