I’m Danine, a math and science teacher with a passion for learning and a deep commitment to making education engaging and accessible. I’ve taught in both Alberta and Saskatchewan, and I currently live in the Calgary area with my three kids. My journey in education began with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, and I’m now working towards my Master of Education in Teaching, Leading, and Learning at the University of Regina.
I believe in the power of learning—not just for my students, but for myself as well. I’m always exploring new ideas and trying to find creative ways to enhance the learning experience. I’m especially interested in how technology can be a tool to make life easier and more efficient. In fact, I used AI to help me format this short biography, which is just one example of how technology can streamline tasks and improve productivity.
Balancing my career with raising three children has taught me the value of adaptability and time management, and it also reinforces my belief that learning never stops. Whether it’s in the classroom or in my own studies, I’m always striving to grow and find new ways to inspire others to do the same.
