I think this is going to be an awesome project. As soon as I heard a learing story for something we are interested in, I figured I’d kill 2 birds with one stone. I puchased a house in July 2023 for myself and my children. This house was great and works perfect for us. The house was even move in ready when I took possession, “Bonus”.
Now after living in my house for a year there are some areas where I can see I want to do some work. An area that I would like to plug away at and renovate is my kitchen. The current kitchen has wood faced cupboards and a small island. There is a wall separating the livingroom and the kitchen. For my project, I have found a website with a drafting/blueprint application called SketchUp.
Using this website/app I have created a draft almost (the size of the cupboards are not quite to scale) to scale of my kitchen. Once I completed my current kitchen I will duplicate this kitchen and make the renos in the app. to see my vision come to life
This is a super cool website, something that I could use as I am often wanting to “change” something in my house and my husband has to figure out how to make it work. I am going to check it out. Good luck with the reno!
