Autobiographical Essay

A short summary:

My journey of education started as a rough one, I could have easily chosen to fixate on the first six years but their impact hardly casts a shadow on the light many teachers have shined on my life. I want to be a teacher because I don’t want any kid seeing school the way I used to. I want to help youth see their own potential and encourage them to rise up to it; the way that my teachers did for me. There are kids out there who just need an adult to believe in them to tell them they are capable. My biggest hope for becoming a teacher is to make a positive difference in someone’s life. I want to be the one to tell kids that they are smart like Mr.Turchinetz. I want to push kids to do well like Ms.Dales. I want to set my students up for success outside of school the way Mr. Schindelka, Mrs. Booth, and Mrs. Fehr-Rose did for me. I want to be a good teacher and I know if I follow the example set out for me I will be.
