As of the Winter Semester of 2023 – 2024, I have had one field experience as a pre-intern at Jack Mackenzie School in a grade 7/8 split classroom. During this placement, I observed and facilitated lessons on 6 separate school days. Pre-internship is often 7 days but my placement was impacted by job action which was a valuable first-hand expense as a pre-service teacher. 

Aside from working in schools, I have had the opportunity to work alongside youth both through volunteering and working with Youth for Christ. During that time I was responsible for coordinating events for summer programs, planning lessons, and instructing activities.
