Completing The Chorus

This week I learned SIX new chords of the song ‘Vampire’ by Olivia Rodrigo on the piano. Completing these chords means that I have fully finished the chorus. We are nearing the end of our learning project, so I will need to pick up the pace and learn more than two chords to meet my goal of singing and playing the piano at the same time.

In order to document my learning project process, I made the decision to keep my iMovie intro, which I have been using for the past few weeks. It has been really beneficial to me and has helped me stay organized while working on my learning project.

I felt proud and excited after finishing these chords, but it was also eye-opening because I just need to finish the song’s bridge to finish the full acoustic portion of Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Vampire’. Having said that, I’ll be practicing parts of the song’s bridge chords on the piano this upcoming week.

I have attached my week 7 of my learning project video below:

    Hi Elyse!
I love this song and it is sounding great on the piano! I also really like how you edited this video to show what you were playing at the start of the video.

    Great work!

    Hi Elyse!

Your journey on the piano is quite exciting to watch, and it must be exhilarating! The chorus in Vampire sounds terrific, and I can’t wait to hear the singing.
