Is Math the Most Unbiased Subject of them all? School is a place with many feelings, experiences for many individuals. The classroom and school environment means many different things to people. Some individuals experience school with many glowingly positive experiences. Whereas other students see it as a scary and anxious place. Many experience school with a variety of emotions which change depending on the feelings they experience during different subject areas. Multilingual Learners are Assets to any Classroom!
Multilingual Learners are Assets to any Classroom! As a teacher I am all about being as inclusive to all my students as humanly possible. In terms of multilingual learners and multilingual ideologies, the classroom is not an idea that is new to me. Multilingualism to some teachers is a brand new concept and a struggle to include into the classroom as well. Treaty ed may be a new term, but it has a long and lengthy past that needs to be taught and understood by all Saskatchewan and frankly Canadian students. Amidst treaty education’s curriculum it requires just as much time as other subject areas, but more often than not doesn’t. As mentioned in this intern’s email, people have not opened up and made themselves…

Classrooms should have Feelings, Sounds and a certain Look for it’s Students?
Classrooms should have Feelings, Sounds and a certain Look for it’s Students? As teachers we need to always be questioning factors such as what does a culturally relevant pedagogy and classroom look like? Feel like? Sound like? When teachers consider how to have a more culturally relevant pedagogical forward classroom, breaking it up into these three sections has made it easy to understand what needs to be done to improve. As a teacher I want my classroom to look like this? I want students to show signs of being understood, for who they are on the inside and out. Each student should look like…
