Stand outs from the Semester

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I have always dreamed of of what my university experience would be liked. Some of those dreams being super exciting experiences and some extremely nervous moments. Although I am happy to say that this summer semester of the ECS 101: Educational Justice course has made me understand that teaching is not just teaching. I have learned that as a teacher I have to be there for our students and talk about the tough topics in the classroom no matter what.

Stand outs from the Semester

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

+ TEACHING IS ESSENTIAL WORK. I loved reading teacher resource articles that valued the belief that teaching is essential to kids growth and learning development.

+ LEARNING WORKS WHEN IN PAIRS, COLLABORATION, AND GROUP WORK. I believe in the idea that learning works better in collaboration movements such as pairs and group work. I know that this true, because that is exactly why I learned so much in this class because of the group discussions . Being able to bounce ideas off others, at least to me helps progress the idea that there are other perspectives there than your own.

+ PERSONAL TERRITORIAL AGREEMENT. This was something that I learned this semester that I will never un learn. As I see the extreme importance in acknowledging what land you are on whether it be in your classroom and at home.
