Coding is something that I have absolutely no experience with! I decided to give the Hour of Code a try to see how I liked it! I have never really given coding a thought, to me it was something that I was not at all interested in. Hour of Code made it fun and easy to learn some basic coding and have an understanding of what it means to code. I completed a section and got my certificate. 
For me coding is not something that I thought I never need too learn, I thought that it was not important. After some reflection I realized that coding is actually a very important part of our everyday life and the technology we use within it. I think that coding is a very important thing for our world to have and it is something that I believe everyone should have an understanding of it.
Coding is used to create every website, game and app that we use everyday. Coding is used to create every piece of technology that we use on a daily. After some reflection I realize how important coding in our everyday life!
I think that an Hour of Code is something that I will use within my classroom. It is simple to follow and has lots of options to choose from. It is something that is very easy to follow. It gives a basic understanding of coding while still being friendly for beginners!

I also tried out Hour of Code and really enjoyed it! Like you, I also have no experience with code but this program made it fun and easy to do. I did the self portrait one, give it a try if you’re ever wanting to try out coding again!
