Magic School

One of my classmates has told me about Magic School AI. This is something that interested me and I wanted to learn more about so I did some further investigation to look more into Magic School.

Magic school is an AI tool that teachers can use to create almost anything they can think of. Lots of teachers use Magic School AI to help create lesson plans, write IIP’s, communicate more clearly and many more things. I like the idea that Magic School can be used to help teachers in many different ways. There are many things that teacher can benefit from, having help with all of these things can help make a teachers lives easier. This can help teachers come with ideas for different students and be able to help create individual plans for students with different needs. I believe that this is a tool that can be used to for teachers to enhance the learning of their students.

Although this is a good tool for teachers to use, some teachers may abuse it. They may rely on it for all lesson plans and their work. I do not think that this is the purpose of this tool. I believe that it was designed to help teachers but not to do everything for them! This tool can be very helpful and useful in serving its purpose but may also pose challenges if not used correctly.

Personally, I am neutral about the use of AI tools. Throughout university they can get you in a lot of trouble if you are using them to write papers or do your work. But, on the flip side of that they can be useful, they can help generate ideas when trying to write a paper. There are many pros and cons to using AI technology that I do not think they are positive or negative. I believe that AI will play a part of my students learning in my future classroom. If I show students expectations and proper ways to use AI I believe it is a tool that can be used. But, I also have to be careful that students are using it to do their work. AI is something that I do not have a lot of experience with and need to do some research to gain a better understanding!

What are your thoughts about using AI technology in the classroom?
