First week IDLY recipe;
Hello, my name is Fathima. I love to learn cooking from different states. I am from India there are more than 30 states or territories. It was my long-time dream to try different cooking recipes and cook delicious food for my children. But I do not get time to look for new recipes. Through this class, I got an opportunity to learn different cooking styles and to make new recipes for my children.
For the first week, I tried a recipe called IDLY. This is a South Indian food. I will write step by step about how I made it and also attach the link from where I learned the recipe from.

This cooking experience took me to back home India. I was thinking of how people work hard to start preparing for breakfast one day ahead of time. For example, the rice and the ingredients mentioned should be soaked for 4 to 5 hours. Then ground in a mixer for 30 minutes. Then we need to add salt and mix well. Then should be kept overnight to ferment. Only the next day we get to eat the IDLY. I tried and for the first time it worked well and it was soft and good. For my next blog, i am going to learn a new recipe.
