I believe the teacher should not always be the smartest person in the classroom.

I believe the teacher should not hold all the power in the classroom.

I believe the teacher should hold respect but also be able to give respect back.

I believe any type of harassment towards any student is unacceptable.

I believe Indigenous based teachings should be taught in the classroom.

I believe students should be taught to respect others.

I believe students should be taught to treat others like they would want be treated.

I believe land acknowledgments should be part of every classroom at least once a day.

I believe that education should be decolonized.

I believe all students have a right to their own educated opinions.

I believe in learning from my students.

I believe in our future and the change it will bring.
