Resources

My teaching journey began in September of 2019 when I took my first ECS class during my first semester of university. This timeframe is also the first year I had ever experienced “back-to-school” season on the opposite side of things, which felt very odd after so many years of first-day-of-school jitters and the excitement of new school supplies. Ever since that fall semester, I found my perspective on education shifting from passive participant to active aspiring educator. In October 2020, I started working as a substitute educational assistant with the Regina Public School Board, which has provided me countless opportunities to; visit many different schools and classrooms, work in specialized programs, and gain resources and knowledge from experienced educators teaching in my community. Many of the resources on this page were sourced from classrooms I’ve had the opportunity to work in and learn from, as well as what I’ve collected throughout my undergraduate degree. I am looking forward to collecting many more resources such as these throughout my teaching journey!
