My Teaching Manifesto
In my classroom, I will:
-
- Ensure my classroom is a safe and comfortable learning environment.
- Expand on my student’s prior knowledge, experiences, and background.
- Make a personal connection with each of my students so I can fully support them and encourage their learning.
- Carefully and thoughtfully plan my assessment practices to make sure all students are considered and supported.
- Acknowledge social injustices and work to dismantle the inequality to the best of my abilities.
- Ensure my assessment tools are accessible and adaptable for all learners
- Model and amplify the ideals of lifelong learning, and support my students while they learn and grow.
