Autobiographical Paper

 Excerpt From My Autobiographical Paper:

It was not until I was in the eleventh grade that I understood how my family values and the experiences in my life had influenced my choice to pursue a future as a teacher. Recognizing events leading up to choosing a career was helpful in my journey to becoming an educator. Sports, family values, and former teachers all played a role in the decision.

Excerpt From My Autobiographical Paper:

Growing up my family valued hard work; whether that be in sports, school, and so on. My brother and I were always told to try our best even if it wasn’t perfect. From having that put into my head at a young age I have continued to have high expectations for myself knowing  that if I tried hard then that’s what matters. Having parents that pushed me and were there for me when I needed their help was super helpful growing up. As I hold onto my family values I believe I can use them as a future educator and can help in growing my teacher identity.
