This week I tried out the app Learn Ukulele. My first impression of this app was great because it asked me questions about where I was as a player and what I wanted to learn. I chose that I was a beginner and that I wanted to learn simple things, like how to strum, pick, and learn different chords.
Upon reaching the home page after answering these questions, I immediately became overwhelmed. This app was very unorganized for me and I had a hard time trying to figure out where to start. After adventuring for a while, I had come across many ads. I encountered many ads that were not related to music but for games. This annoyed me a lot because I was just trying to figure out how to get started on this app. I eventually found a warm up video when I realized that this video was from YouTube. I did a little more digging and found out that most of the videos are from YouTube and then put into this app. I found it really hard to start on this app compared to Yousician, where it is more organized. I would like to try this app out again later when I know a bit more about the ukelele. This app looked like it was for people who knew more about the ukelele, who are ready to learn songs.
