In ECS 303, I had the opportunity to facilitate and lead my peer group in a critical discussion surrounding the topic of Culturally Responsive Pedagogy. To begin our discussion our group began by sharing and learning one another’s name story. I prepared and presented a slideshow to my group in addition to posing questions which each group member had the opportunity to respond to. This was one of my favourite assignments in ECS 303 as it prompted me to be reflective towards my own personal biases and challenge them as I prepared and reflected on the content I learned about for this assignment.
