I was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and have lived here my whole life. Although I grew up in the city I have a small town heart. That comes from my grandmother as she lived in Fort Qu’Appelle and she has been the guiding influence on my life. She was a teacher herself and getting to see how much a a community she made with her students influenced me into teaching and will direct what kind of teacher I will be
I went to St. Theresa Elementary School and Miller Comprehensive High School. While attending these schools I was taught by some amazing teachers that I now look up to when thinking of what kind of teacher i want to be for my future students.
I am a lover at heart and feel very passionate about my interests. Those include, books (reading and writing), crochet, music, and of course education. I think having passions is very important as it allows us to put or creativity and inspirations some where meaningful to us. I also strongly value the love of family and friends and believe that they can make you your best self.
