Excerpt from Teaching Philosophy:
My philosophy on education has always had a focus on inclusion and equity. I want to create an education experience for students that will help them better understand themselves and the world around them. I believe that students should be able to do this in a welcoming and judgement free space. I want students to be aware that trials may result in error and it may take them a few tries to understand something but that is okay. It may take them time to figure things out but they should never give up. I want to help students understand that education is more than just covering curriculum.
