Welcome back to another week where we are dancing with TODDLERS! Today we chose a fun Zumba dance from the channel “ZUMBAwithDovydas“. The video we selected is Zumba kids (easy dance) – i like to move it. My son had lots of fun with it! It was a easy to follow dance, which was very upbeat, and short in duration so that he could keep his attention long enough to follow it. I really Dovydas because he keeps the viewers attention and seems to have a lot of fun with it. I will insert a video link of my son dancing to one of Dovydas video’s here: Son Dances to Dovydas. I think this may be a really great video for teachers to utilize for movement breaks in school, to get younger students to wake up. I also love this video for my son to dance, practice, and move to! I am going to be trying to locate some specific dance channels on his Youtube Kids app on his Amazon kids pad next week. I also used ScreenCastify again to capture the video of my son dancing and to edit it.
Cheers to another week!

It sounds like you had a lot of fun dancing with your son… the name of your post caught my attention. I know a lot of teachers like to give their students movement breaks, and I think it is a great idea! Have fun with your next dance…

You’ve always got the best titles Jorden lol. You both seem to be having so much fun. with the project! I know I always loved movement breaks in elementary school. We always did Just Dance videos since there were so many popular songs. It’s aways a fun way to get kids up and laughing! I’m excited to see more of your journey since your posts always put a smile on my face!

I am a Zumba instructor and I approve of your moves! Haha. This song is always a fave. The Zumba kids dances on YouTube are awesome. Special request for a Soca! That is one of my personal fave styles and the kids always love it too! Love your documentation of your project.

It sounds fun, Zumba with the toddler. It must be a fun and enjoyable learning project for both your mother and son. I love it too and am excited to read more blog posts.
